3 EGGCITING THINGS YOU CAN DO AT CONISTON THIS EASTER!

3 Eggciting Things You Can Do At Coniston This Easter!

bike

The Lake District is quite simply a beautiful place to visit any time of the year, but Easter has to be one of our favourites. With spring flowers starting to show their brightly coloured faces, the sun glistening on Coniston (if we are lucky!) and the temperatures nice enough to enjoy lots of outdoor activities, it’s no wonder a visit  to the National Park tops the list.

Whether you are enjoying an Easter weekend away, a holiday in the Lake District or like us, are lucky enough to live here, we look forward to you joining us at Coniston this spring for some very eggciting events, activities and much more…

Take a look at our top 3 activities for you, family and friends to enjoy this Easter:

1) Enjoy breathtaking views on the lake

It’s hard to beat the view on Coniston Water. Pre-book a motor boat, rowing boat, canoe, kayak or paddle board today!

2) Go exploring on bike!

Our family friendly cycling routes make for a great adventure. Why not prepare a picnic and make a day of it. Alternatively, you can stop at the Bluebird café which is situated on the lakeshore with inspiring views to be admired.

3) Tackle the Old Man of Coniston walk

Starting above the village of Coniston with stunning views of Coniston Water, this popular route provides stunning scenery. From waterfalls, derelict quarry buildings, tarns and some of the best views the Lake District has to offer, this walk has something for everyone. Find out more about this route
