We're just half a mile from Coniston village on the shores of Coniston Water. There's parking, or arrive by launch.

Car park and facilities
Car Parking Charges payable 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Charges apply to all vehicles, including coaches, trailers and vehicles displaying a blue badge.
All car park charges go towards keeping the National Park special for the future.

These are located next to the car park.
Public transport and boats
Coniston Launches
Boats leave Coniston Boating Centre daily, with regular trips across to Brantwood. Special cruises include "Swallows and Amazons" and "Campbells on Coniston". See Coniston Launch for full timetable, routes and prices.
- From 12 March to 6 November 2022 the Coniston Launch leaves at 10:00am each day.
- From 7 November 2022 to 10 March 2023 the Coniston Launch leaves at 10:40am each day, apart from December and January when the boat runs only at weekends.
Steam Yacht Gondola
This rebuilt Victorian steam-powered yacht will transport you back to an era of peace and tranquillity. It sails every day (weather permitting) with round trips taking approximately 45 minutes from Coniston Boating Centre, calling at Brantwood jetty.

Buses
Coniston village is linked to various towns and villages by bus, with extra services in the summer. Then it's just a half mile amble to the lakeshore and Coniston Boating Centre. Check out the best bus for you on Cumbria County Council bus timetables.
